Describe the coronary circulation in mammals.

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

Coronary artery ensure the continuos supply of blood to the heart muscles by forming a pathway known as coronary circulation. It is a pathway of blood through arteries from the aorta arising from the heart and returning to the right atrium (i.e. blood transport from heart to heart). In this type of circulation, oxygen rich blood is delivered to myocardium (heart muscles) through coronary arteries and oxygen deficient blood is taken away by coronary veins.
Any internal clot in the coronary artery can lead to blockage which results in heart attack.
