The photograph depicts poet's mother who had gone for a beach holiday along with her two cousins Betty and Dolly. Mother was the eldest of the three and about 12 years of age. The poet's mother looked sweet in the photograph and two of her cousins held her hands from either side. All three stood in the photograph smiling through their hair.
