describe the physical condition of poet mother

Her mother's face was pale. in the poem her dozed & open mouth is compared with corpse. The mother has been compared to late winter's moon which is dull & shrouded. it symbolises the ebbing of life.

her mother is too old her face was pale she remained her mouth opened poet considered her mother as late winters moon because she was dull as last winters moon.poet feeling very sad with her mother.
