Did the kangaroo agree ? Why ?

The duck wanted to sit on the kangaroo's back and travel the world. So, in order to convince the kangaroo, the duck promised to wear socks that fitted its web feet perfectly so that the kangaroo won't get 'roo-matiz' from its cold, wet feet. Also, it brought a cloak to keep out the cold and promised the kangaroo that he will smoke a cigar everyday. Hearing this, the kangaroo agreed under two conditions: the duck must sit steady and also, sit at the end of his tail so that he can balance himself.
