Difference b/w high pitched sound and low pitched sound.

To put it in the simplest terms: The difference between high pitched and low pitched sounds is the speed of the vibrations (frequency). If it's a high frequency, the pitch will be high because of the very fast vibrations of the audible sound waves, the opposite applies to low pitched sounds; the lower the frequency, the slower the sound waves and lower the pitch.
