Difference between adenine and thymine in tabular form please

Dear student,
Please find below the answer:

Adenine and thymine pair up with each other using two hydrogen bonds. Difference between Adenine and thymine:
Adenine Thymine

Adenine is a purine nitrogenous base. It is one of the four nitrogenous bases that make up DNA and RNA.

Thymine is a pyrimidine nitrogenous base. It is one of the four nitrogenous bases that make up DNA. In RNA, uracil is present in place of thymine.
In addition to being a part of the genetic material, adenine combines with three phosphate groups to form a high energy molecule called adenosine triphosphate (ATP) which is also known as the energy currency of the cell. Thymine has no role in the formation of ATP.

Hope this clears your doubt.
Regards.
