difference between biomolecules and metabolites?

Dear student,
Difference between biomolecules and metabolites is given below:-
Biomolecules Metabolites
Any organic molecule which is involved during metabolism by a living organism is called a biomolecule. It can range from simple glucose to macromolecules like proteins and steroids.
Example: primary metabolite, secondary metabolite, proteins, steroids etc.

Metabolites are substances or intermediates including products, produced during metabolism. Sum total of all the chemical reactions going on in cell is called metabolism.
Example: antibiotics, resin, terpenes etc.
