DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COORDINATING AND SUBORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS ( PLEASE GIVE A VERY EASY DEFINITION ALSO....VERY FAST PLS EXPERTS) ?

Dear student

-When a conjunction is placed between words, clauses, phrases or sentences, it is known as a coordinating conjunction.

Some coordinating conjunctions are: and, but, so, or.

For example: He came home and he went to sleep.

- A conjunction used to join a subordinate clause to the main clause, is called a subordinating conjunction.

Some subordinating conjunctions are: before, after, although.

For example: The school reopened after the floods.
