Difference between factor income to abroad and factor income from abroad.

Sometimes, it happens that the citizens of a country are temporarily residing abroad (such as Indians living in U.S.A) and similarly foreign citizens are temporarily residing in the domestic country (such as a German citizen residing in India). Thus, in such cases, the factor income earned by our residents from the rest of the world will be considered as factor income from abroad and the factor income earned by the non-residents within our country will be considered as factor income to abroad.
