difference between hormones and glands

 
Hormones Glands
Hormones are called chemical messengers because these are chemical compounds like proteins, steroids etc. Glands are the structures that release their secretions into the body.
These carry information from the organ from which they are secreted to other part of the body. They secrete chemical messengers into the blood in case of ductless glands or sweat in case of duct glands.
eg:- progesterone and testosterone They are of 2 types: Exocrine and Endocrine glands.

Glands are the organs which produces hormones.
