Innnate immunity-It is defined as the type of immunity which the organism has acquired by birth such as the skin, phagocytes etc. It is non specific. Acquired immunity-if a pathogen is able to get past the body's non-specific defense, the immune system reacts with a series of specific defense which not only kills the pathogen but also remembers it so that in the second attack the body can react more quickly and effectively.
