difference between metaphasic plate and equatorial plate in cell cycle?

The plane of alignment of the chromosomes on the metaphase plate is known as the metaphase plate.
Equator is the part where the chromosomes assemble from where the kinetechores connect to the spindle fibres on the either poles.
