CROP ROTATION

Multiple cropping is the method of growing two or more crops on
a same field at the same time
Crop Rotation is the process of growing different crops in a
piece of land alternatively

With multiple cropping the loss factor is reduced as if one
crop gets damaged another may not get damaged
Crop rotation helps in maintaining the fertility of the
land

eg : Tomatoes , Onions and marigold are grown through multiple
cropping method
eg : Corn and soyabean are grown in crop rotation Corn is a
heavy nitrogen utilising plant and soyabean is a nitrogen
depositing plant
