Difference between normal residence and non-residence of india
Dear Student,
A Normal resident is said to be a person or an institution:
1. Who ordinarily resides or is located in a country and
2. Whose centre of economic interest lies in that country.
There are two conditions to become a normal resident of the country that a person or an institution
A. Stay in the country should be more than a year and
B. An interest of staying in that country should be economic.
The person or an institution is said to be Non-Resident of a country who do not:
1. Resides in a country for more than one year
2. And do not have any economic interest in that country.
Example of Non-resident: The crew of foreign ships, aircraft, an International organisation like WHO, World Bank, IMF, etc.
