DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PRISM AND TRIANGULAR PRISM

​A triangular prism is a type of a prism. All prisms have two bases, which comprise of two congruent or identical polygons - these could be triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, etc - and theses bases are joined by rectangles on the sides. A triangular prism is one which has triangular bases.

A triangular pyramid is a geometric solid with a base that is a triangle and all other faces are triangles with a common vertex . A triangular prism is ageometric solid with 2 bases that a congruent (identical) , parallel triangles and all other faces are parllelograms .
