Workload analysis: It enables an assessment of the Number and types of human resources necessary for the performance of various jobs and accomplishment of organisational objectives(while starting a new business)

Workforce analysis: It estimates the number and type of human resources available. It would reveal whether the organisation is understaffed, overstaffed or optimally staffed(while expanding an existing business)
