Differences between biosphere reserves and botanical gardens

Dear student,
Biosphere Reserves are large areas for conservation of biodiversity, which include both wildlife and plants.
Botanical Garden are the specialised gardens having collection of living plants. These plants are grown for reference and identification of newly discovered plants, so that they can be classified under proper category. The plants collected are labelled, indicating its scientific name and family it belongs to.

Example − Botanical garden at Kew (England), Indian Botanical garden at Howrah (India), National Botanical Research Institute at Lucknow (India)
