Differentiate b/w intensive subsistence and commercial farming.
Intensive subsistence farming is a labour-intensive form of farming . Here tools used are primitive, hand made. Low chemicals are used for production.This form of farming basically is done to fulfil the needs of the farmers. Subsistence crops are generally not used for commercial purposes but for the sake of consumption.
On the other hand, commercial farming is a modern input-intensive form of farming . Here various modern tools and techniques are used for production. High yielding variety seeds, chemicals and fertilisers are used at massive scale for production. These crops are used for large scale commercial purposes. Examples of commercial crops are cotton, tea, rubber etc.
