Differentiate between a vector and an infectious agent.

Pathogens or infectious agents are microorganisms that cause diseases in humans, animals and plants. They can be bacteria, fungi or virus. 

Vectors are the organisms that transmit infectious agents from infected person to healthy person. For example, mosquito etc.

vector agent is an agent that carries a disease and spread it amongst the others. but infiectious agent is a patient of the disease and it keeps on spreading.
