Differentiate between acute and chronic diseases.

Acute dieseases

 

1. Acute diseases last for a short time.

2. Such diseases do not cause any major effect on our general health.

3. A Person suffering from an acute disease recovers completely after cure.

4. Since acute diseases last for a very short time, they do not lead t loss of weight or feeling of tiredness.

 

Chronic Diseases

 

1. Chronic diseases last of a very long time.

2. Such diseases have a bad effect on our general health and may lead to prolonged general poor health.

3. A person suffering from a chronic disease generally does not recover completely.

4. Since chronic diseases last for a very long time, they lead to loss of weight or feeling of tiredness..
