Differentiate between natality rate and mortility rate.

Natality rate also called birth rate may be defined as the number of live births per 1000 individuals per year, whereas Mortality rate is defined as Death rate refers to the measure of number of deaths or the number of deaths per 1,000 individuals per year.
Natality rate tells us about the increase in population while mortality rate tells us about the decrease in population.
In the case of sigmoid type of population growth curve _Natality rate is high when population size is small and its low when population is large, while Mortality is low when population is small while its high when population is large.
