differentiate between symptoms based treatement and microbe based treatment

SYMPTOM BASED TREATMENT -   It is a treatment in which the disease causing microbes are not affected.The treatment only affects the symptoms like fever etc caused by the disease.which provides the patient with a relaxing affect.

MICROBE BASED TREATMENT  - It is a treatment in which the symptom is not affected.The treatment destroys the disease causing microbe.Thus curing the disease of the patient.

⊙In symptom based treatment they treat only the symptoms but not the microbes ⊙in microbe based treatment they treat the microbes fully

Symptom based: depending on symptoms  we take medicines to reduce the fever or pain or as per the case. we also take complete rest to conserve energy.
Microbe based: we take specific antibiotics to kill the disease causing microbe. it will not cause harm to human cells as human cells do not have cell wall and antibodies mainly block the biochemical pathway of cell wall formation.
