ANS: They indicates the various stages of developement of an individual.

A zygote forms after fertilization. A zygote becomes an embryo which becomes a fetus.

An embryo is a multicellular diploid eukaryote in its earliest stage of development.

In organisms that reproduce sexually, once a sperm fertilizes an egg cell, the result is a cell called the zygote that has all the DNA of two parents.

A  foetus is a developing mammal or other viviparous vertebrate, after the embryonic stage and before birth.

Infant is the stage after birth of the young one.
