DIFFERENTIATION OF THE PLANT BODY BETWEEN SPIROGYRA AND FUNARIA

In Funaria, the main plant body is a gametophyte which is green, sparsely branched.The plant body of Funaria is differentiated into root like structure called rhizoid.
In Spirogyra, the plant body is undifferentiated and is called as thallus.
