Economic infrastructure refers to all the tangible and organisational structure that are required for the smooth funcioning of the economy. Transportation, communication etc. are some of the examples of economic infrastructure.

Social infrastructure includes all the support syatems like schools, colleges etc which work to improve the quality of the human capital.
