Distinguish between
1. thunder and lightning
2. Conventional current and electric current

Dear student,
1) Thunder is the rumbling sound that is heard during the thunderstorm and is a form of sound energy.
Lightning is the sudden flash of light in the sky and is a form of electrical energy.
2)
The flow of conventional current is from the positive end of a cell to the negative end whereas electric current refers to flow of electron in a circuit i.e. from negative terminal of a battery or cell to the positive terminal. Therefore, the electric current is taken as in the direction opposite to the direction of conventional current.
