distinguish between national and regional political parties

Political parties which are part of government formation or capable of forming a government are called national parties. Theese parties are represented in several states eg-bjp,congress etc.

Regional parties are those that are represented in a few states.at the regional level,we have parties such as- samajwadi party (sp) in uttar pradesh,jharkhamd.
