  1. Quantitative-Definable by numbers/letters etc.Usually associated with pure science and experimental research methodology.An example would be-The towers hanoi problem.The number of moves the participant makes it quantifiable.It uses means median IQR and SD etc.
  2. Qualitative-Associated with expression of feelings, thoughts and behaviour.The information cannotnecessarirly be 100% accurate.An example would be someone teeling their thoughts and feelings.
