divide Rs 5170 in the ratio of 1/14 : 1/30

Total amount = Rs. 5170
Ratio in which the amount is divided = 1/14 : 1/30

Therefore, first part =  Rs (5170 * 1/14 * 420/44)
                                =   Rs 3525
