division of decimals

division of decimals is simple. just ignore the decimals and divide the numbers normally . when you get the quotient
place the decimals between the numbers as it was in the dividend. there is no remainder in decimals. if there is a remainder coming , just add one decimal to the quotient and add one 0 to the remainder . keep doing this until you get 0 as the remainder.

Example: 15 divided by 0.2
The number we divide by is called the divisor. To divide decimal numbers: Multiply the divisor by as many 10's as necessary until we get a whole number. Remember to multiply the dividend by the same number of 10's.
