Do density affect weight of object???

Dear student,
We know that Density is an intensive property i.e. it does not depend on the amount of matter(mass) of a substance whereas weight is an extensive property and it clearly depends on mass. Density changes when temperature or pressure of an object change so if we vary the density by doing some pressure or temperature changes, that produces no effect on mass(as mass is totally independent of temperature and pressure) consequently no effect on weight of the body, so I don't think it's clear enough to establish that there's any direct relationship between density and weight.
Regards.

if an object weighs more than an equal volume of water, it is more dense and will sink, and if it weighs less than an equal volume of water, it is less dense and will float.
