Do fluids exert friction on the bodies moving through them? Give reasons to support your answer.

Dear student,

Yes, fluids exert friction .The frictional force exerted by fluids is[  called drag or fluid friction. To overcome or minimize air fluid friction, the bodies are given special shapes e.g. streamlined shape.Water exerts force of friction on object which move through them
 and opposite their motion.
