Do we include non factor input or factor input while finding intermediate consumption ? ( why or why not please specify)

Dear Student
Intermediate Consumption includes the value of Non-factor inputs only (i.e. raw material) because intermediate goods are those goods which are within the boundary line of production, value is yet to be added to these goods, and these goods are yet not ready for use by their final users. That's why primarily, intermediate consumption includes the value of raw material used in the process of production.
