Do you think the tribal revolts where successfully in achieving their objectives? Justify 

The following points may help you:

a. Though, many tribal revolts took place against the colonial policies , many were successful in attaining their objectives.

b. Bastar rebellion  provided tribals an opportunity to stand against the Briish and inspire the rebels in other villages.The rebellion in the village of Bastar , marked the victory of the villagers as a result the work on reservation was suspended and the area was reduced to half.After the rebellion , it almost took British three months to regain control of the village. 

c. Likewise, rebellion led by Birsa Munda, where the Britihs passed laws  in favour of tribals.

d. It largely revealed the strength of the tribal people.

e. Other example of successful revolts were those of Tana Bhagat movement in Bihar was started by Jatra  Tana Bhagat and Turia Bhagat, they opposed the Britih policy of taxation and staged a satyagraha. They followed Gandhi policies and idaels.

f. Though ,many a times, British did suppress the revolt and retaliated in a brutal manner.
