Does change in momentum depends on time? Please elaborate.

Dear Student,
Momentum depends on the mass of the object and how fast the object is moving. When a force acts on the body, it changes the velocity of the body (provided the body is heavy). If the mass of the body is very less and its speed is close to that of light, force may lead to change in mass also.
Change in momentum depends on amount of force acting on it and the time for which force acts on it. Thus, the  change in momentum depends on time.
