Does the acceleration produced in a freely falling body, depend on the mass of the body ?

  • The acceleration of a freely falling body is equal to g, which is known as acceleration due to gravity.
  • The expression for acceleration due to gravity is g = G M / R^2, where 'G' is universal gravitational constant,  'M' is mass of the earth, and 'R' is radius of the Earth
  • From the above expression, it is clear that the acceleration of a freely falling body is independent of mass of the body, but depends on mass of the planet.

yes........it does

yes

no mass doesnot affect free falling body
because gravtiation is same for any 2 masses thats why its called universal constant hence mass does not affect free falling body
