Physiologicalarousal follows an emotional experience. This is because thephysiological changes accompany emotions that are experienced as aresult of neurophysiologic activations. For example, appearance in anexamination without preparing, results in emotional distress due tofear of failure and the student gets anxious. The emotionalexperience leads to physiological changes as eventually the studentgets nervous and experiences sweating.
