The image formed on plain mirror will have following characteristics:-
1.The image is virtual and erect
2.Image size is same as that of object size
3.Distance of the image from the mirror is same as that of distance of object from mirror
4.But image is laterally inverted.

The image formed on convex mirror will have following characteristics:-

1.Image formed is virtual and erect.
2.Image size is smaller when compared to object size
3.The position of image depends on position of object
