Draw a triangle ABC and BC = 12 AB= 5 and angle B = 90, construct a triangle similar to ABC with scale factor 2/3

Answer:
 Given AB = 5
           BC = 12
          B = 90
By using Pythagoras theorem we get
 AC2 = AB2 + BC2AC2 = 52 + 122AC = 169
AC = 13

1) Draw a line BX and draw three equal radius arc on line BX that intersect at B1 . B2 and B3.AS
   BB1 = B1B2 = B2B3    (Because our scale factor is 23)
2)darw any acute angle XBC and draw line BC as 12 cm. and B = 90 and length of AB and Ac area 5 and 13
4) Join B3 to C and than draw a line from B2 as parallel to B3C that intersect our line BC at C'.
5) Draw line From C' as parallel to AC that intersect line AB at A'
6) Join line C'A' and form a triangle A'BC'  that is our required triangle.
Now we can say that
                               BC'C'c = 21
Therefore ,
                      BCBC' = BC' + C'CBC'  1 +C'CBC'  1+12 = 32
So,
               BC'BC = 23BC'BC = 23
Similarly A'C' is parallel to AC So
   A'C'AC = 23
Then we can say that
 BC'BC = A'C'AC = A'BAB  = 23    (Ans)
