Draw graph of the equation 2x+3y-6=0.

(i) From graph determine whether x=3 and y=0 is a solution

(ii) Find value of y if x= -3

(iii) Find x if y= -2 from graph and verify.

From Graph it's clear that for x = 3 => y = 0

for x = -3, value of y = 4;

from graph we can find that fo y = -2 value of x is 6.

we can also verify it by putting value of y = -2.

2x+3y-6=0

2x +3*(-2) -6 = 0

=> x = 6.

hope this helps you.

cheers!!
