during cold winter inscet fell cold Nes or No

Dear student,
Please find below the answer:

Insects can feel the changes in temperature around them. But this does not affect them the way it affects mammals. They do not get physically discomforted by the cold or hot. However, in case the temperature goes below 00 F, they might go down in the ground where the temperature is slightly warmer. There are some insects which die at very high and very low temperatures.

Hope this helps.
Regards.

Adults (and immature nymphs) can't survive cold, winter temperatures. Their eggs, however, overwinter and will hatch in the spring, bringing forth a new generation of these pests. Some insects, Monarch Butterflies are a prime example, outrun the cold weather by migrating away from it.
