Today they maybe a shadow of their former self from the 70s, but Japanese people have always encouraged innovation and development of products since the Meiji Restoration era.Their willingness to reward an individual is much higher and therefore encourages people to innovate more and think more for the country, society and sciences and deliver solid results.
