Actually thses ages when the man used stone tools are stone ages
they are further dividded in four groups according to the stones
the used
1 Palaeothic age : (500,000-10,000 B C
2 Mesolithic age :(10,000-8,000 B C)
3 Neolithic age : (8,000-4,000 B C)
4 Chalcolithic age:(4,000-2,000)
They used the different tools for different types of pourposes
like GROUND -EDGE AXE for chopping FLAZED-EDGE ADZE for wood
working BLADE KNIFE for slicing ARROWHEAD for hunting
