Epihydrophily is found in

Hydrophily is the process of pollination in plants with the agency of water. It can be of two types: epihydrophily and hypohydrophily.
Epihydrophily involves transfer of pollen at the water surface. It is common in plants in which flowers are born above the surface of water such as in Vallisneria.  In  Vallisneria, the plant is submerged but the female flowers are borne on long, coiled stalks  which elongate at maturity to expose the female flower above the surface of water. The male flowers are released  under water which float above the water surface, around the female flower. The pollination takes place at the surface of water.
Hypohydrophily occurs in completely submerged plants and involves transfer of pollen to the stigma under the surface of water like in Zostera, Ceratophyllum etc..
