ans given in my buk is c. bt shudnt it be d? as 80s ribosome is composed of 60 & 40s units?

• The eukaryotic ribosome is present in eukaryotic cells has the 80s  as sedimentation coefficient for complete ribosome i.e ribosome made up of both small as well as large subunits. The 60s is sedimentation coefficient for single large subunit and 40s is sedimentation coefficient for a single small subunit of ribosomes.
• The 80s ribosome is further divided into two subunits 60s and 40s but a single subunit or even both of them are not present individually in the cell, so we cannot consider them.
