evaluate the contributions of amir khusrau in the field of litrature and music

Amir Khusro made immense contribution in the field of literature and music. He was the founder of Khayal of north Indian classical music known as Hindustani.He modified raga Dhrupad and added Persian tunes and beats to it. He also created Qawali.

Khusrao was a royal poet who wrote in Persian. His poetry and other writings were considered as remarkable. Khusrau wrote many playful riddles, songs and legends which have an indelible imprint today and are used in music.
