Evaluate the French royal court at Versailles, why it existed and the contribution it made to French government and society.( France before 1789)

a. The Palace of Versailles or the Royal court certainly held a significant place in the history of France.
b.  It  was rather symbolic of absolute monarchy and the royal family.
c. The hall hosted number of delegates and emerged as a centre of political decisions where nobility spend huge amount of time.
d. Louis XVI had called the assembly of Estate general in this Royal court, which certainly later determined much of the France's history.
e. The Royal court also reflected King's extravagant lifestyle and French grandeur.
f. The king established a proper court life till about 19th century.
g. During the French revolution , the Royal family moved to Paris from Versailles.
