Evolution I.e. changes in an organism to adjust to the environment as suggested by Charles Darwin is very slow process that take place over ten of thousands of generations over million of years. However in bacteria developing resistance to antibiotic which is a type of evolution takes place within our own lifetime. Can you say why it occur so quickly in bacteria?

The life span of bacteria is very short and they reproduce quickly. Because of this thousands of generations pass within a few years. Therefore evolution, such as becoming resistant to antibiotics, occurs in bacteria within our own lifetime.
