Expert, when I was doing my test I got a question. The question was "The least number which, when increased by 2, is exactly divisible by 12, 15, 18, and 21 is ? But see in the image which I have highlighted is it wrong? In the question it is told that when increasing by 2 with the product but it is decreasing 2 why that so?

Dear Student, The highlighted portion is correct. The LCM of 12, 15, 18 and 21 is 1260 that means 1260 is divisible by 12, 15, 18 and 21. Now, if we subtract 2 from 1260 we get 1258 which is the least number which when increased by 2 gives 1260 which is divisible by 12, 15, 18 and 21. So, 1258 will be the answer. Regards,
