Experts please answer, why was USA introduce dwans plan? (No irrelevant answers)

Dear Student,

The Dawes plan was propounded by a banker of United States called Charles G. Dawes. When Germany did not pay war reparations to France, the latter has decided to occupy Ruhr. Germany had critically resisted such a move and extensively printed paper money which resulted in destruction of German currency. In these circumstances, America has interfered and brought out the Dawes plan which helped Germany to pay war reparations very easily. This plan has two important parts. One is to reduce reparations in short term to fifty million pounds per year. The other part is the American financial assistance of 25 billion US dollars to Germany which helped the latter to rebuild its industrial capacity. Thus, to help Germany to come out of financial distress was the main intention of America to introduce Dawes plan.

Regards

The Dawes plan was a plan made by Gustav Stresemann in April 1924, which reduced payments to annual, affordable, amounts. In addition to this, the Americans invested money in German industry, giving them a kick-start in restoring the payments.
